The Comfortable School National Project has become one of the most significant initiatives in Kazakhstan's education sector over the past decade. Under the project, initiated by President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, 217 modern schools are being built to provide comfortable, safe and modern conditions for students. Of these 208 schools on 434,600 pupil places in two shifts Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC as the single operator of the project, and also 9 schools under construction local executive bodies as part of a public-private partnership.
