Electroforming machine is used during experiments on electrostatics to obtain electric charge of high potential and high electric voltage (several tens of thousands of volts), to conduct, in combination with other devices, experiments on the distribution of electric charge on the surface of the current conductor, experiments to determine the electric lines of force in the electrostatic field, experiments with point electric discharge, electric discharge in a vacuum tube and other experiments.
This instrument can also be used independently to conduct a series of experiments, such as determining electrostatic induction, producing spark discharge, point electric discharge, changing the capacitance of electric capacitor(meaning the Leiden jar of generator) etc.
Specifications:
1. The radial runout of two electrophoreses is not more than 1.5 mm。
2. The unevenness of the surface of the two disks of the electrophoresis leads to a gap between the inner surfaces of the two disks at any point, the size of which is not less than 2.5 mm, but not more than 7 mm.
3. The axial horizontal runout of the electrophoreses along their center axis does not exceed 1 mm.
4. The axial horizontal runout of the manual drive handle does not exceed 1.5 mm.
5. The height of the aluminum cylindrical vessel (cup) of the Leiden jar is at least 120 mm.
6. When the ambient air temperature is 20°C, the relative humidity is 65% and the rotation speed of the manual drive handle is 120 revolutions per minute, the spark electric discharge occurrence distance is at least 55 mm.
7. When the ambient air temperature is 25-30°C and the relative humidity is not more than 80%, the distance of spark electric discharge occurrence is not less than 30mm.
