Application models Chromosome crossing over
The manual consists of the following images: Drosophila fly with gray body and light red eyes; Drosophila fly with gray body and dark red eyes; Drosophila fly with black body and dark red eyes; Drosophila fly with black body and light red eyes. The set gives two kinds of chromosomes with conventionalized representations of genes. Rectangles in gray and black denote allelic genes for body coloration. Circles of dark red and light red colors denote allelic genes of eye coloration. Divergent chromosomes have a yellow-colored base, light red circles and black rectangles. The set includes a figure imitating the crossing of chromosomes and figures (two-piece) imitating the halves of different chromosomes
