The device is a kinematic model in the form of a section of an internal combustion engine. The model has a three-dimensional shape. Its individual parts are brightly colored. Interaction of the model elements (piston crank mechanism and valve control cam mechanism) is demonstrated by turning the handle. The demonstration requires a power source of an electric light bulb with a voltage of 2-3 volts.
