The device is designed to demonstrate the device and principle of operation of an electric bell. It can also serve as a source of sound when demonstrating sound attenuation in thin air.

The bell is mounted on a plastic panel so that all parts of the bell are clearly visible.

A screw with lock nut is provided for adjusting the amplitude of the bell striker oscillation.

The bell panel can be mounted on the overhead projector screen or secured in the included stand.

The demonstration requires a DC and AC voltage source and a set of connecting wires.
